Kx-826 Phase III Clinical Trial And Combination Therapy Study Data For Aga Presented At The 2026 World Congress For Hair Research (Wchr 2026), And Was Selected As An Outstanding Poster

Suzhou, 1 June, 2026-Kintor Pharmaceutical Limited (“Kintor Pharma”, HKEX: 9939), announced that its in-house developed and potential first-in-class KX-826 data from two important clinical studies was presented at the 14th World Congress for Hair Research (WCHR 2026) held in Seoul, South Korea from May 28 to 31, 2026.

 

The WCHR is the the most influential academic conference in the global hair research field. Held biennially, it provides participants with a unique opportunity to delve into the outcomes of recent clinical trials and experimental studies. Two important clinical studies are as follows.

 

(i) phase III clinical trial data for the treatment of male adult androgenetic alopecia (“AGA”) in China. Professor Cheng Zhou (周城) from Peking University People’s Hospital, the lead principal investigators of the phase III clinical trial, presented the final analysis results of KX-826 1.0% tincture for the treatment of male adult AGA in China at main venue. The overall results demonstrated that KX-826 exhibited excellent efficacy and safety in patients with AGA.

 

Furthermore, the results of the phase III clinical trial were selected as an Outstanding Poster at WCHR 2026.

 

(ii) clinical observational study data in combination with minoxidil for the treatment of male adult AGA in China. The clinical observational study was led and completed by Professor Leiwei Jiang (江蕾微) and colleagues, and provided a solid basis for future phase III clinical trial of KX-826 and minoxidil combination therapy.

 

Currently, the Company is actively advancing the marketing authorization application for KX-826. Upon approval, KX-826 is expected to become a first-in-class topical innovative drug, filling the current clinical gap for new drugs in AGA treatment and breaking the nearly 40-year treatment paradigm that has relied solely on minoxidil and finasteride.
